Skream (Oliver Jones) is a 21 year old DJ/producer who, along side a few other DJs, is credited for originating Dubstep in the UK. Surprisingly, Soul Jazz Records, mainly a reissue label, has started releasing exclusive material from Dupstep artists like Skream, Digital Mystikz, Burial etc. The Soul Jazz endorsement is a handy stamp of approval for the young genre, at least in non-electronic music circles outside Europe.
Rutten is from Skream’s only full-length record (shown above) released in 2006 on Tempa.
