Love this single. Happy House was released March 4th on DFA Records. Interestingly enough, Juan Maclean was the guitar player for Six Finger Satellite from Providence, RI. James Murphy, co-founder of DFA, joined Six Finger Satellite in some capacity (sound guy?) before moving to New York where he co-founded LCD Soundsystem and DFA Records. After Six Finger Satellite broke up, Juan Maclean got out of the music biz for awhile and got a degree. Story has it, Murphy persuaded Maclean to start cuttin’ tracks again, and he did. Now he’s cuttin’ tracks and it’s a good thing. You should go out and buy the 12″, it comes with various remixes and was released on a worth while label who appears to still be profiting off the sales of 12″ vinyl singles. Maybe thats not true, but they do a good job of appearing as such.
